Show us where you live - Master Bedroom

So I've started reading Kelly's Korner and I love that she has people show where they live every Friday. I have really enjoyed other peoples rooms and decorating. I am super excited about getting started on a little redecoration around here.

Anyway, I thought I'd join this week by adding my master bedroom.

I hope you enjoyed!

  3. I also like the frame with your children's artwork and footprints.

By the way, how do you keep your house looking so great and clean with 5 kids. Everything is in order. Looks wonderful.

  4. Hey Danielle! I like the color of your bedroom. What color is it? I am looking for a light blue like this to paint a room in my house. :)

  5. Came across your blog through Kelly's.

I love the contrast of the dark wood with the serene blue. Beautiful room!

Ps. I noticed that you were a mom at a young age. (I became one at 20). I love coming across Young Mamas who still manage to have their life put together. (I guess its all those bad stereotypes)

  6. Love your furniture! Is it Lane Grammercy Park? If not, that's what we have and it's very similar! A pain to dust, but really makes a room! Love the bed!

  8. The furniture is from Rooms to Go...don't remember what it's called though. Thank you for all the wonderful comments. It is a pain to dust...but it is the one place in the house I can go to relax and I'm not afraid I'll step on something and hurt my feet:) And that frame is a shadow box the kids made for #1 Dad last Father's Day. They each wrote out something special the love about Daddy and I did the foot prints of the baby.
